ARE YOU READY FOR A WALK ON THE DARK SIDE?

Cloud 9 Ranch has some twenty plus wild caves within our borders. Ranch members are welcome to embrace their wild side and explore the Ranch Cave System.

Cave exploring is a beneficial way to reach your outdoor adventure goals. This pleasurable experience allows participants the ability to embrace nature from the inside out.


Safe Caving Tips:

• Caves are inherently treacherous and even at times dangerous environments. Be aware that you are cave exploring at your own risk.
• Have the proper equipment. Take a reliable light source and extra batteries as a precaution.
• Wear Appropriate clothing to protect against cuts and abrasions.
• Wear shoes that are secure to your feet. Sandals, Flip-Flops and other loose fitting shoes are not acceptable.
• Some cave ceilings are low, caving helmets will help to protect you from bumping your head in these areas.
• Never Cave Alone.

Basic Caving Rules:

• Bring only water into the cave
• Wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
• Carry Out what you Carry In
• Always stay with your group.
• Know your physical limits.
• No Alcohol

Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but carefully placed footprints, and kill nothing but time!
